The best thing with Paint Shop Pro is that it uses layers. With the layers you can put one part of the picture in front of the other. You can also paint as much as you like on one layer without damaging the other layers.

Paint Shop Pro remembers also everything you do, so you can undo as many times as you like. But because of that, Paint Shop Pro will become very slow after quite a while. But because you can undo as many times as you like, it is much easier to make the pictures you like.

With Paint Shop Pro you get also the program Animation Shop. With this program you can create animated gifs. It is an easy to use program and the quality of the gifs are excellent.

It takes quite a while to download Paint Shop Pro but it is definitely worth it. Therefor I recommend to use Getright so you can stop and resume the download at any time.
